Belmont Mansion

Belmont Mansion is a wonderful venue for elopements and weddings.  We boast an extensive collection of original artwork, period furnishings, and usual architectural features. One of the most stunning features is the Grand Staircase that is the perfect entrance for any bride. Weddings are hosted in Belmont Mansion's beautiful Grand Salon. All downstairs museum rooms are open for guest access during events.

Belmont Mansion is an Italianate Villa house built in 1853 by Joseph and Adelicia Acklen, some of Nashville's wealthiest residents. Belmont was part of a large country estate created as a summer getaway from the family's Louisiana plantations. Despite the Acklen's wealth and status, they were not immune to the troubles of war. In December of 1864, the 4th Corps of the Union Army occupied the house and grounds before the Battle of Nashville.
